BBC article highlights Omega's important work

In her article Who cares for the carer when they're bereaved?, released to coincide with Carers Week 2018, BBC journalist Jessica Labhart considered the life of a carer after the person they cared for has died. Bereaved former carers not only face the grief associated with loss, but must often do so without the support network built up around the 'cared-for'. The article featured our work in Solihull and Dudley. Our award-winning facilitator, Omega Bereavement Programme lead Jane Hunt, told the BBC that there are no "quick fixes" for carers dealing with grief, but regular group sessions could help.
