Carers4Carers (in partnership with the Omega Network of Meeting Point Support Groups)

Carers4Carers is a self-help group run by carers, for carers.  Each session always starts with a cuppa and a chat - very important for those who are socially isolated due to their caring role!  Speakers are often invited based on recommendations from members of the group and always focus on topics that provide important information, advance carer skills, or help with day-to-day life. Past guests have included Age UK, Jeremy Wright MP and Guideposts Trust.

Meetings are held on the fourth Friday of every month, 10.30am-12pm, at Kineton Village Hall, Mill Street, CV35 0LB.  For more information, visit the Carers4Carers website or Facebook page.

Dates for your diary:

While we remain unable to run our monthly meetings, we are keeping in touch via our monthly newsletter and our volunteers are offering telephone support calls. We also hope to run a “virtual coffee morning”, so keep your eyes out for further info! If you are a member, haven’t heard from us but would like a call, do get in touch on the number below. If you would like to find out more about our work, take a look at our website www.carers4carersonthefosse.org , email us at kcarers4carers@gmail.com or call 07947 893504.

Carers4Carers would love for you to join them for coffee and biscuits at their monthly meetings.  Please let them know in advance if you would like them to look after your loved one in the Companionship Group. For more details, including help with transport, please phone Gillian on 01926 640203 / 07947 893504.

The Omega community fundraising promise
At Omega, we are a tiny team of paid staff and a huge team of enthusiastic volunteers. We occasionally arrange a series of lively community fundraising events and income generating activities. We welcome your ideas and will do our best to implement your feedback. Most events need a minimum level of support. We invite you to register your interest and your communication preferences early so we can notify you in advance should it be necessary to cancel an event for any reason.
